Rose L Casapullo

Rotterdam – Rose L. Casapullo, 99, passed away peacefully at Ellis Hospital on Thursday, May 17th, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Rose was born in Schenectady on April 17th, 1919, the daughter of the late Ralph and Angelina Casapullo. She was predeceased by her sisters, Catherine Massaro and Mary Valentino, her brothers, Samuel and Anthony Casapullo, Sr. and brother-in-law, Dominick Valentino. Rose is survived by her sister-in-law, June Casapullo (late Anthony Casapullo, Sr.), several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Rose was employed by the General Electric Company. Rose was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Seniors, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Choir, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Women’s Society, St. Theresa Guild and the GE Women’s Club. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 22nd from 8:15-10:15am at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue in Rotterdam. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Pleasant Street, Schenectady. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
