BRANDON, VT: Rosalie Whaley Corbo, age 87, died Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Our House Residential Care, in Rutland. Mrs. Corbo was born in Schenectady, NY on April 21, 1925. She was the daughter of John and Florence Whaley. She was graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School, class of 1943. She had worked for many years at Terbush and Powell Insurance Agency and later at Maurice's Ready Foods. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching baseball and football. She loved going to "The Track" at Saratoga and enjoyed movies. She was a member of St. Madeleine Sophie Church. Her family was her life. Surviving are 2 sons; Mark Corbo of Bradenton, FL and Paul Corbo of Brea, CA, a sister Florence Cooper, of Schenectady. Many nieces, nephews & cousins also survive her. A Memorial Mass "In Celebration of Her Life" will be celebrated on Saturday, January 12 at 11:30 AM, at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, 3500 Carman Rd. in Guilderland. Following the mass the family will receive friends in the church hall, for a time of fellowship & remembrance. Friends may call at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam, NY on Friday, January 11 from 2-4 PM.
