Ronald J D'Angelo

Malta - Ronald J. D’Angelo, 72, formerly of Rotterdam, passed away on Thursday, August 18th, 2016 at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn surrounded by his loving family. Born in Schenectady, Ronald was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Papo) D’Angelo. He graduated with a degree in Accounting from Siena College and became a Certified Public Accountant where he spent his career as an auditor for the New York State Comptroller’s Office. He had a lifelong passion and love for the game of golf that first began while working at Normanside Country Club as a teenager and he enjoyed playing the game with his son and friends. Besides his parents, Ronald is predeceased by his siblings, Theresa Ann Caraballo and Nicholas D’Angelo. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 44 years, Joan (Brzoza) D’Angelo of Malta and his son, Thomas D’Angelo (Katie) of Hoboken, NJ, as well as several nieces and a nephew, Valerie, Andrea, Kristin, and Joseph. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 23rdat 11:30am at St. Gabriel’s Church, 3040 Hamburg St. in Rotterdam. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Rotterdam.
