Rocelyn K Wintle

Schenectady, NY-  Rocelyn K. Wintle age 79 passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 6, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Niskayuna, NY, she was the daughter of the late Howard L. and Anne E. (Kagel) Fernau.

Rocelyn was predeceased by her loving husband of 28 years Bert and one son Robert Wolff.

She is survived by one son James Wintle and his fiancé Kim Janis Lawer and one daughter Cindy Lawson and her partner Joseph Pasquariello. She is survived by two brothers, Greg (Laurie) Fernau and Scott (Sally) Fernau. One granddaughter Kayla (Zach) Carson and one grandson, Ryan Wintle and his fiancé Victoria Pidgeon. Rocelyn is also survived by three great grandchildren, Maci, Colton and Cody, one niece Tegan and one nephew Brian.

Rocelyn was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  Rocelyn enjoyed cooking for family and friends in her home but also enjoyed meeting them out for a meal. She loved to shop and was especially fond of her two cats, Kiki and Sammie. She will be missed.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 4-7pm at the Demarco Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Viewland Cemetery
