Rocco P Gabriel

Rotterdam – Rocco P. Gabriel, 90, passed away Thursday March 9, 2023 at the Albany VA Medical Center. Born in Schenectady he was the son of John and Sarah Gabriel. From 1950-1952 Rocco served our country in the United States Navy. A self-employed contractor, Rocco specialized in commercial and residential construction. His wife of 56 years, Joan Covell Gabriel, passed away in 2013. He is survived by three children Rocco J. (Angie) Gabriel, John J. (Robin) Gabriel and Julie Gabriel. He is also survived by three grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Services for the immediate family will be private and burial with military honors will take place at St. Cyril’s Cemetery, Rotterdam.
