Robert B. Zullo, 97, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 and Baptist Nursing Home after a short illness. Born September 13, 1915 in Scotia, NY to the late Nicholas and Anna Foster Zullo. Robert was the owner/operator of Mohawk Freight Lines in Albany, and was a self-employed Teamster. After retirement, Robert purchased a farm in Ballston Spa where he raised horses and beef cattle.He was a member of the Ballston Rotary Club and former member of New York State Forest Rangers. Robert was an avid outdoorsman. He had a private pilot license and flew his plane over the Adirondacks from his camp in Sacandaga to Latham for business. Robert is survived by his wife, Audrey Kaiser Peddie Zullo; stepson, Douglas (MaryAnn) Peddie; daughters, Joan (Sante) Fretto, Barbara (Ron) Scheer, Gail (Ray) Bradt, Michele Zullo, and Dorothy (Jerome) Willard. Eight grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren also survive.Robert was predeceased by daughter, Tami Gabri; and sisters, Ella Jegabai and Dorothy Merrick.
