Robert W Reagan

SCHENECTADY- Robert W. Reagan, 88, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2019. He was born in Albany, NY where he was raised by his parents, Margaret (Amsler) Kelsch and William Kelsch. He married Laurette Govel on June 1, 1952. They have been happily married for 67 years. In 1949 Robert joined the U.S. Navy where he honorably served his country until his discharge in 1953. He then went on to work as a heavy equipment hauler for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Rotterdam Elks, several golfing leagues, as well as a dart league at the Elks. In addition to golf and darts he enjoyed sitting on his patio with his wife and hunting with his family. He was well known for a his great sense of humor and quick wit. He was a loving father and devoted husband who cared for his wife and children. Above all else, Robert cherished the time he spent with his wife and family. Robert leaves behind his wife, Laurette, his children; Kathy (Don Rychcik)Pidgeon, Judy (Edward) Webster, Sandy (Ben) Massaro, Rob Reagan (Rae), Nancy (Rich) Valletta, Lisa (Tony) Karbowski, Joe (Terri) Reagan, and Barbara (Rob) Lawrence, his grandchildren; Jessica, Nik (Veronica), Sarah (Garrett), Gina (Jim), Shanna, Jake (Trista), Raegan (Brian), T.J., Samantha, Easton, Dalton, and Madison, and great-grandchildren; Oliver, Clara, and Benjamin. He will also be missed by many friends and relatives. He now joins his parents in eternal life as well as his brothers and sister.
