Robert G. Hull

Robert “Bob” G. Hull, age 66, passed away on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, in the loving embrace of his wife at Ellis Hospital. Bob was born on July 7th, 1959, in Schenectady, NY to the late William H. and Doris A. (Dawsey) Hull.

After attending Mont Pleasant High School in Schenectady, Bob completed many courses at HVCC and Union College. He worked at Montgomery Ward for over a decade then went on to work for General Electric, where he ultimately earned the title of Senior Draftsman. He enjoyed listening to country music, watching Yankees games, and cheering on his children, who were his pride and joy. Many of his favorite memories were made at his family camp on Sacandaga Lake.

Bob was a headstrong, brilliant man that encouraged everyone around him to focus on health, happiness, and family. His loved ones will remember him as the strongest fighter they have ever known.

Bob is survived by his wife, Barbara L. Hull; his children, Victoria and Aaron Hull; his siblings, William Hull (Margaret) and Tammy Carpentier (Jim); and many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to attend Calling Hours held on Thursday, May 14th, 2026, from 10 AM – 12 PM, at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Schenectady, NY. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12 PM, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered in Bob’s memory to the American Kidney Fund or the American Diabetes Association.
