Schenectady- On August 8, 2021,after a long battle with cancer Robertpassed away peacefully at home at the age of 56 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Silvi Marina, Italy to Giuseppe Costantini and Carmela Fuschi Costantini. Robert graduated from Schalmont High School with the Class of 1983.He took part in the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, NY.He would then go on to attend Schenectady Community College for 2 years. Robert worked for over 20 years at Price Chopper and later as a home supervisor for NYS O.D. Heck. He was an avid fan of the NewYork football Giants, watching as many, if not all of the games he could. He was proud of his custom built 1976 Monte Carlo, which won many trophies at numerous car shows. Anyone who knew Robert would say he had jokes that could last a lifetime. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone in need. Above all, he loved his family and friends andcherished the memories he created with them. Robert was predeceased by his daughter Ariel Costantini. Heis survived by his parents, Giuseppe and Carmela, his children; Vittoria Costantini and Joseph Costantini, his sister, Milena Costantini and her fiancee Michael Pearson, and brother Damiano Costantini and his four children Katrina, Joshua, Luciano and Isabella, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew and nieces. A Memorial Mass will take place on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 9:30am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Rd. Schenectady, NY 12306.
