Robert "Bob" Biscossi

Schenectady- Robert (Bob) Biscossi , peacefully passed away to be with his Lord And Savior surrounded by his loving family at the age of 75 on Sunday April 9, 2017 after a heroic battle with cancer. Bob was born in Rome Italy on January 3, 1942. As a young boy, he was brought to Schenectady NY where he was raised with his parents and he later graduated from Linton High School. He married the love ofhis life Donna (Mastin) Biscossi on August 24, 1963 and raised their family in Glenville NY before retiring between Saratoga and Florida. Bob was the executive chef at Ellis Hospital in the 1960’s and 1970’s. He then went on to pursue his life’s dream using his God given talent and successfully owned several restaurants, pizza shops and commercial properties. Survivors include his soulmate Donna to which he was married 53 years: his children who were his pride and joy to which he was their world: Robert Biscossi Jr. (Michele), Tina Parlante (Salvatore), Michelle Buchakjian (Vahan), Joseph Biscossi (Rebecca). He is also survived by his loving sister Ruth/Scotti Biscossi (Donnivan ) and his niece Michelle Sims who he lovingly always watched over. He is survived by his grandchildren who he adored as his precious treasures Diana, Isabella, Maria, Vincent , Mia, Trevor and Hannah. Bob was predeceased in death by his parents Alexander and Clementina Biscossi and his stepmother Maria Biscossi and his brother John Biscossi. Family and friends may call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc 1605 Helderberg Ave Rottedam on Tuesday April 18, 2017 from 5 pm to 8pm. Funeral services will begin at 10 am at the funeral home on Wednesday April 19, 2017. Immediately following a church service will be held at 11 am at Calvary Tabernacle Church 1840 Albany Street Schenectady. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Colonie NY.
