Robert L Babin

Robert L. Babin, 64 of Rotterdam, died at home on Sunday, January 18, 2015. Born in Niskayuna, Robert graduated from Scotia-Glenville High School in 1968. For several years, Robert owned and operated the Sunoco service Station on Erie Blvd in Schenectady and was currently employed as a Lab Technician with GID Global LLC. He served in the Air National Guard in Scotia for 6 years and was a member of the Albany-Schenectady Chapter of the Harley Owners Group. Robert was predeceased by two sons; Todd Babin and Michael Babin and his parents; George and Edith Albright Babin. He is survived by his wife Darlene Hiller Babin, step daughter; Victoria Marchesani, step granddaughter; Samantha Titshaw, his brother; Thomas Babin, one niece; Rebecca Babin and 3 great nephews. Services and burial will be private
