Schenectady - Ricky C. DeMania, 58, of Schenectady passed away at home on Thursday November 12, 2015. Rick was born in Schenectady, the son of Albert DeMania (Deceased) and Mary DeMania (Davi).Rick graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1975.After graduating he held numerous jobs before settling into the building trades.He ran Custom Craft Contractors until his death, a company that was formed by his father Albert. Rick is survived by his mother Mary, a sister Diana Taylor of Schenectady, a brother Alan (Jean) DeMania of Niskayuna, a sister Janet DeMania of Rotterdam, a son Jason (Lori) DeMania of Schenectady, a daughter Tina DeMania of Schenectady, a son Justin DeMania of Schenectady, a daughter Lindsay DeMania of Rotterdam; other family members include nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts.He is also survived by four grandchildren, Isabella, Gabriel, Cipriana, and Natalia for which he lived for and adored. Funeral Services will be held 9 a.m. Wednesday November 18, 2015 at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1255 Pleasant Street Schenectady, NY 12303, where his Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 6 - 8 p.m. at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam, NY 12306.
