Richard F. Mundweiler Guilderland - Richard F. Mundweiler, 50, of Rotterdam and Lake Pleasant, NY died of Miocardial Infarction on Saturday, June 3, 2017. Rick was born on August 26, 1966 in Schenectady, the son of Kenneth and Carolyn Mundweiler and was a graduate of Mohonasen High School and Siena College. He was a Manager of Indirect Sourcing for HD Supply located in Rotterdam. Rick's life was one comprised of love, joy and humor. His enthusiasm for fun was exemplified by his quick wit, and those around Rick were always laughing at his playful antics. He was passionate about hockey, collecting cars, playing poker, fishing, boating and snowmobiling in the Adirondack Mountains. Most importantly, he had a steadfast love for his family as he spent many evenings fireside, smiling and laughing with his high school sweetheart and prom date, Amy, and their three sons. Enormous in heart, Rick's generosity was boundless. He gave his time, talent and care to everyone he knew and he made all feel welcome in his presence whether it be with a quick joke, a smirk or a reassuring pat on the back. His heart may have given up on him, but Rick will always be remembered for his open arms and his kind spirit. Rick is survived by his wife Amy and three children, Derrick, Andrew and Brandon. In addition, he is survived by his mother, Carolyn, his mother-in-law, Eileen Rogers, his two siblings Patricia (Michael) and Joseph (Cheryl), his brother-in-law, James Rogers (Linda) his business partner and dear friend, Gail DeAngelo. Rick is predeceased by his father, Kenneth J. Mundweiler, Jr (2016)and his grandfather, Kenneth J Mundweiler (2015) and his father-in-law, Thomas Rogers (2014). Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7 pm at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, 3500 Carman Rd. in Guilderland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning, 11:30 am at the Church. Burial will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
