Richard W Dickenson Sr

Schenectady – Richard W. Dickenson Sr., 78, passed away on Tuesday, August 4th, 2022. Richard was born in Schoharie to his parents, the late Charles and Laura (Kane) Dickenson. He attended Horstman Elementary School and Linton High School in Schenectady. Richard worked for many years as an operations manager at the General Electric Company. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing. Richard also enjoyed watching westerns, wrestling and taking long drives. Above all else, he loved the time he spent with his family. He was the kind of person who was always there for anyone in need, whether it was his children or a family member needing a place to stay, Richard gave his love and anything to he could to help those in need. He is survived by his wife, Tina (LaDuke) Dickenson; his children, Tita , Bonnie, Raymond, Richard, Tommie, Sheryse and Katrisha as well as many beloved grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Richard was predeceased by his first wife, Lisa and son, Joey and his siblings, Charles and Caroline Dickenson. A celebration of Richard’s life will be held at a later date.
