Reuben R Rusch

Reuben Robert Rusch, 87, passed away early on Tuesday, June 28th, 2016 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland. Reuben was born in Reedsville, WI, to his parents, Reuben Albert Rusch and Verona (Leudtke) Rusch. After earning his Doctorate in child growth and development, Reuben worked for many years as a Professor of Statistics at SUNY Albany. Reuben was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan and an avid outdoorsman; enjoying hunting and fishing. He found great joy in spending time with his great granddaughter, Ruby. His wonderful sense of humor will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. Reuben is predeceased by his wife, Fay (Knoll) Rusch, daughter, Barbara Carol Rusch and sister, Rachel Rusch. He leaves behind his daughters, Larkin Rusch (Robert Wilhelm) of Guilderland, Margaret Rusch of Altamont and Catherine Knoll Rusch of Guilderland, his grandsons, Albert Rusch and Robert Puels (Michelle) and his great granddaughter, Ruby Lyn Puels. He also leaves behind his sister, Joann Hubbard and his dear friends and caregivers, Nancy Liddle and her son, Robert Gaige. By Reuben's request there will be no services.
