Rotterdam-Mr. Raymond A. LaDeaux, 81, of Guilderland Ave., passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady with the support of his family by his side, following a recent decline in his health. He was born on Sept. 26, 1941 in Watervliet, son of the late Henry and Phyllis (Bleau) LaDeaux.Raymond retired from Schenectady County Community College as superintendent of maintenance.He proudly served with the US Airforce, enlisting in 1959 and was honorably discharged in 1963.Raymond was united in marriage with Pauline Marsello who passed away on Oct. 15, 2012. Survivors include his step children, Joyce Carter Kimball (Wayne) of Rotterdam, Jo-Ann Tiemann of Latham, grandchildren, Robert Carter, Fred Tiemann, Laura Mesec, great grandchildren, Allison and Nathan Carter, Damon Tiemann and Jordan Mesec, his siblings, Charles (Janan) LaDeaux, Patricia Crandall of Castleton, Sandra Howland of Charleston and Holly LaDeaux of Leesburg, VA, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald LaDeaux. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects to Raymond’s family at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam, on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. The US Air Force will offer military honors at the conclusion of the visitation. A private entombment will take place at the convenience of his family at Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie.
