Scotia- Ralph Nicholas Giaquinto passed away in his Scotia home on Tuesday December 29, 2015. He was the son of the late Andrew Giaquintoand Lena Petrillo Giaquinto Holland. Ralph was a 1962 graduate of Draper High School . He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1968. He retired from ShenendehowaSchools in 2003 after 20 years of service. He served on the Board of Directors for Am Jam. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, bowling and golf. Ralph was loved by many people. He loved his family. Ralph also loved his friends who were like family to him. He had a great sense of humor and generous and trusting heart. Ralph never married but his role as son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend and the memories of those relationships will be cherished forever. He will be greatly missed by his nephew Andrew Giaquinto (Eileen ) of Clifton Park, nephew Daniel Giaquinto (Kathy) of Petersburg and niece Joanne (Donald) Penman of Saratoga Springs as well as his great nieces and nephews and great- great nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his former sister in-law Rae Rhodes of Floridaand brother in law SimeoGallo of Rotterdam. Ralph was predeceased by his siblings Constance Gallo andMichael Giaquinto. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc 1605 Helderberg Ave Rotteram NY on Monday January 4, 2016 from 6 pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday January 5 2016 at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Saratoga National Cemetery at 2 pm. Ralph made donations to several organizations. Donations maybe made in his name to one of his favorites: Wounded Warriors or St . Jude's.
