Rotterdam – RéAnna Lee Anderson passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the age of 15. RéAnna was born in Niskayuna, to her parents Jessica Rodriguez and Joseph Anderson and was a student at Mohonasen High School. She will be remembered for being a ray of joy and sunshine. RéAnna had a big heart and was always there for others no matter what struggles she was facing. She loved spending time with her little siblings and cousins. RéAnna’s favorite thing to do was dance and make TikTok videos. She was a girly girl at heart, and loved to dress up and go shopping. At the same time, she also liked to play video games and go fishing with her dad. She was loved by so many and will be deeply missed. RéAnna leaves behind her parents, Jessica Rodriguez (Will Smith) and Joseph Anderson (Kayla), maternal grandparents, Laurie Martin (Daniel) and Carlos Rodriguez, paternal grandparents, Claude and Sharon Anderson, her siblings, Mckinley, Mckai and Milan Smith, Christian, LA and Ariannah Watson and Julian and Jovanni Anderson, her aunts, Mercedes Rodriguez, Alexus Lazzari, Danielle and Chloe Martin, Odessa, Nikita, Mariah and Elizabeth Anderson and Nicole Jones, and uncles, Claude, Matt and Shawn Anderson and Michael Talmadge as well as many cousins. Calling hours will take place on Thursday, January 7th from 4-7pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue in Rotterdam. Masks and social distancing will be required. RéAnna’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the Albany Medical Center’s pediatric endocrinology and pediatric neurology departments and the staff at Mohonasen Central Schools, especially Ms. Jennifer Fahsel and Ms. Jodi Scalise, for their care and kindness shown to RéAnna during her times there.
