Philomena M (Carafano) Pacelli

Schenectady – Philomena M. Pacelli, 96, passed away on Saturday, July 29th, 2017 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Home. Born in Schenectady, Philomena was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Carmela (Casale) Carafano. Philomena was predeceased by her dear husband, Angelo N. Pacelli and her 4 siblings, Michael and Charles Carafano, Rose Ferradino and Nancy Carafano. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, James Pacelli (Susan) of Millersville, PA, her grandchildren, James Pacelli, Jr. MD (Adrienne) and Gina Roberts (Curtis) as well as her great grandchildren, Julianna, Logan, Nataleigh and Analiese. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 2nd at 11am at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2777 Albany Street, Schenectady. A visitation will be held at the church prior to mass from 10:15-10:45am. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Philomena’s name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
