Phillip Joseph Rowe, Sr.

Schenectady - Phillip Joseph Rowe, Sr., 64, of Schenectady, New York passed away unexpectedly on July 6th, 2023 due to an undetermined cause in his home.

Phillip was predeceased by his parents, John A. Rowe and Mary M. (Cook) Rowe. He grew up in Clifton Park with his mother, father and three siblings and resided in Schenectady during the latter half of his years.

He was employed in various projects with construction in his younger years and worked as maintenance before retiring. He had a passion for Native American and Viking history, reading novels, attending sports and music events and being out in nature.

Phillip was survived by his two sons Jonathan V. Rowe and Candice R. Rowe, Phillip J. Rowe Jr. and Kelsie M Rowe; Three siblings Damian C. Rowe, Theresa C. Hess and John A. Rowe Jr.; Five grandchildren Logan D. Rowe, Leon M. Rowe, Vincent J. Rowe, Evelyn R. Rowe and Hailee E. Rowe; Special Friends Shawn Goodway and Angeline M. Rowe.

A memorial for Phillip will be held at Demarco-Stone funeral home, located at 1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam, NY 12306, on Friday July 21st, 2023. Visitation will be from 10 am to 11am, services will start at 11am.
