Pauline owned and operated Pauline's Beauty Shop in Rotterdam for many years. She later worked at Campbell Plastics as a Quality Control Inspector, until her retirement. Pauline enjoyed camping and traveling with her family. The enormous love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and keeping up with their various activities occupied most of her spare time. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Raymond A. LaDeaux, her two daughters, Joyce Carter Kimball and her husband Wayne of Rotterdam, NY, and Jo-Ann Tiemann of Rotterdam, NY. Three grandchildren; Robert J. Carter and his wife Marlo of Rotterdam, NY; Laura Mesec of Latham, NY; Fred Tiemann of East Greenbush, NY. Great-grandsons; Jordan Mesec, Damon Tiemann and Nathan Carter and great-granddaughter Allison Carter; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Joseph and Frank Marsello and sister Nettie Voris. Pauline?s favorite times were Sunday dinner each week at her grandson's home (Bob and Marlo Carter), and especially enjoyed babysitting her great-grandchildren Allison and Nathan. She enjoyed spending warm winters in Florida with her friends. Thank you to her nephew Joe and niece Pam Marsello, who went out of their way to bring Pauline food or treats each week without fail. Thanks to Diane Fredenburg who was like another daughter for always caring and always coming to make sure that her hair was done and Walt Fredenburg who was always there with a smile and words of encouragement. Sandy and Jerry Reutter, friends for many years, would bring her favorite chicken soup every Monday. Phyllis and Jim Horvath, for calling every day to check on her and always bringing little gifts to cheer her up. Stephanie and Stan Brynarski for visiting every week; Chuck Jasenski who waited each week for Pauline?s call to go out to dinner. Pauline enjoyed many laughs and good times with friends Richie and Leigh Fredenburg, Dave Pede, Steve and Stacy Ullman, and John and Julie Yonos. Many thanks go to Dr. Peter Cospito, who always went out of his way to check on her, even when he was out of town. To Kathy, Dr. Cospito?s secretary, always calling to check on her. Dr. Kraev, Doreen, and Donna, who put up with so many phone calls, but always ready to help. A very special thanks to Dr. Brian McDonald whose caring and careful attention gave Pauline a lot more time to spend with her family and friends. Thank you to Noreen and the staff at the Ellis Lab for the friendly and courteous attention that they extended to Pauline. A special thanks to Sister Bernadette from St. Adalberts Church, who always made time for Pauline whether at home or in the hospital. Calling hours will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin on Friday, 8:15 am from the funeral home, followed at 9 am by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of St. Adalbert.
