Guilderland- Pauline S. France, 74, passed away peacefully at her home, after a long illness on Thursday, March 24, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She immediately went to work for New York State. She later went to work for Mont Pleasant High School, serving as the secretary to the Assistant Principal, retiring in 1988. In her golden years Pauline devoted all of her time to family, especially her grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Pauline had a magnetic personality. She was very devoted to her children and grandchildren and was just as proud and devoted to her nieces and nephews and their children. If there was an event, play or a game she was sure to be their if at all possible. She was spiritual, supremely devoted to family and friends, and had unconditional love for them. She also gave back to society: volunteering at Equinox Thanksgiving Dinners for the needy, as well as various other charities. If Pauline loved you, you knew it.
