Schenectady - Paulette (Foti) Dimmick, 74, passed away Wednesday at Ellis Hospital with her devoted family by her side. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of Frederick and Marion Manna Foti. Paulette graduated from St. Joseph's School in Schenectady. Over the years Paulette worked in the restaurant industry and developed many wonderful relationships that she treasured, all while raising a family. Her previous jobs include working at Ellis Hospital and was currently working as a well respected court attendant for the NYS Office of Court Administration in Schenectady. Paulette enjoyed spending time with her family and making wonderful memories with her grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and occasionally working the slots. Her husband, Richard Donald Dimmick, died in 1994. She is survived by her 5 daughters; Sherry (Jack) Dimmick-Heermance, Deborah (Jeffrey) Mancini, Isabelle Dimmick, Doreen (Steven) Pitsas and Marylou (Tony) Riddle. Her sister; Frances (Jack) Meaney. Paulette is also survived by 6 grandchildren; Amanda Gross, Jeffrey (Samantha) Mancini, Robert Gross, Karra Mancini, Nicole Pitsas, Richard Pitsas and her great grandchild Cheyanne along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her twin brother, Frederick Foti and her brother, James Foti. A Mass of Christian Burial, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady Queen of Peace 210 Princetown Rd., Rotterdam. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens, Colonie. There will be no calling hours.
