Patricia J. Compositor, 71, of Schenectady, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation in Scotia. Pat was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Frank and Rose DeCata Pepicelli and graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1963. She worked as a secretary for the Guilderland Community Center and later at the Guilderland YMCA. Pat was a former member of the Fulton School PTO. She was both a team manger and board member of the Rotterdam Girls Softball League for many years. Pat was a great cook, an avid Yankee and Notre Dame fan, and loved holidays. She would always decorate the house for every holiday throughout the year. Pat was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Richard A. Compositor, her son; Brian D. Compositor of Schenectady, two daughters; Brenda M. Jones of Rotterdam and Kimberly M. Reohr (Chris) also of Rotterdam, her sister; Rosemarie Pepicelli of Schenectady and her beloved grandchildren; Kayla Compositor, Corey Compositor, Connor Reohr and Cameron Reohr. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-8 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, 8:15 from the funeral home, followed at 9 am by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 1255 Pleasant St. Schenectady. Burial will be at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna. Memorial donations may be made to The Community Hospice, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY, 12144.
