Gazette please publish in Fri edition with photo and logo please confirm charges thank you 355 5770 Rotterdam- Olga Ferri, 81, of Rotterdam passed away Monday evening January 26, 2015 at St. Peter's Hospital surrounded by her devoted family..Olgawas born in Squille Caserta Italy on January 28, 1933 a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Caterina Giaquinto Viscusi. .. After coming to this country she married her beloved husband Leon Ferri In 1954. Leon predeceased her on March 18, 2011. Olga retired from Campbell Plastics. Olga is lovingly remembered by her family as a devoted wife mother and grandmother and great grandmother.She will always be remembered for her wonderful holiday dinners outstanding baking skills and her love of flowers. She is survived by her children Carmen ( Nannette) of Princetown, Linda McKiernan of Rotterdam and Kathleen Ferri ofSchenectady Olga is also survived by her four grandchildren Nicholas ( Christine) McKiernan of Duanesburg, Leon Ferri of Troy, Edward Tyler Ragule and Kyle Lee Ragule of Rotterdam Great grandchildren Ella and Luca McKiernan sister in law Marlene Ferri and many nieces and nephews. Olga was predeceased by her sister Arcangela Dagostino and her son in law Dennis McKiernan . The family would like to thank Dr. Goodman and his staff at Upstate Hematology Oncology for the expert care given to Olga over the years. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc 1605 Helderberg Ave Rotterdam NY on Sunday February 1, 2015 from 1 pm to 4 pm. Funeral services will begin at 9:15 am Monday February 3, 2015 at the funeral home. Immediately following a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am At Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Entombment will follow inSt. Cyril's Mausoleum. Memorial donations maybe made to Community Hospice ofSt Peters Hospital.
