Norman C Ladeaux

Norman C. LaDeaux, 93, of Rotterdam, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the Capstone Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Amsterdam. Born in Ballston Spa, Norman was the son of Charles and Clara McClenthm LaDeaux. He served in the US Navy during WWII and was in the first Navy landing craft on Normandy Beach. Norman served honorably and was discharged in 1945. He was employed as an Industrial Nurse at General Electric for over 30 years before he retired. In addition to his parents, Norman was predeceased by his beloved wife Florence, who died in 2008, his brothers and sister. He is survived by his son, Timothy W.LaDeaux (fiancé Shirley)of Hadley, NY. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 10-12 noon at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park's Pavilion Garden Mausoleum in Colonie.
