Nancy L (Wing) Bibeau

Rotterdam – Nancy L. Bibeau, 73, passed away peacefully at her home with her husband by her side on Monday, April 30th, 2018. Nancy was born in Oneonta, New York and was the daughter of the late Robert and Emma (Debloom) Wing. Nancy graduated from Oneonta High School in 1962 and shortly after moved to the area. She worked in many clerical capacities throughout the capital district, from Albany Medical Center to the Mohonasen School District and later working for over 25 years as office manager for the Boy Scouts of America and most recently at Mekeel Christian Academy, formerly the Schenectady Christian School. In 1964, Nancy married the love of her life Daniel Bibeau. Together they shared a wonderful sense of humor and travels throughout the United States, specifically camping around the Northeast and Canada with their 2 children, Dan and Nicolle. Nancy was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church on Union Street. There she was a member of the choir and taught vacation bible school. Left behind to cherish Nancy’s memory are her devoted husband, Daniel Bibeau, her loving daughter, Nicolle Bibeau, her sister, Sally Ferris, and nephew, Shayne Ferrisas well as many family and close friends. Nancy was predeceased in 1994 by her son, Daniel Robert Bibeau. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 4th from 4-7pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue in Rotterdam. Funeral services will begin at 10am on Saturday morning at First Presbyterian Church, 209 Union Street, Schenectady. Burial will follow at Park View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nancy’s name may be made to the Mekeel Christian Academy, 36-38 Sacandaga Road, Scotia, NY 12302.
