Nancy Articolo

Rotterdam- Nancy Articolo, 98, of Cindy Crest Drive, passed away peacefully at home on Monday December 12, 2016 after a short illness. She was born in Fort Plain NY, on October 12, 1918; a daughter of the late Anthony and Pacifica D’Alesandris Martorelli. She was educated in the former Nott Terrace Schools. Nancy married her beloved husband George Articolo on January 18, 1936. He passed away in 2002. For many years she was employed as a seamstress at the former Cheltingham Clothing of Rotterdam. She was a longtime communicant of Mt Carmel Church and a member of the Mt Carmen Women’s Society and the Rotterdam Seniors. Nancy is survived by her son Dr. George Articolo , grandchildren Roger and Ryan Fallon, Glenn, Lance and Nancy Anne Articolo, great grandchildren Lauren and Leah Articolo, David , Matthew and Brandon Di Meglio and Sophia, Haley and Gina Fallon Besides her parents and her husband George; Nancy was predeceased by her daughter Linda Fallon. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc 1605 Helderberg Ave Rotterdam on Saturday December 17, 2016 from 8:30 am to 10: 30 am. Immediately following a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 am at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church Schenectady. Interment will follow at St Cyril’s Cemetery Duanesburg Road (Route 7) Rotterdam. Memorial donations may be made to the Community Hospice of Schenectady and or the ASPCA 53 Maple Avenue Scotia NY 12302. Local arrangements have been entrusted to RJ DeLuccia Funeral Services
