Rotterdam -Mrs. Jean Shirley Williams White, 87, passed peacefullyinto the arms of the Lord on February 8, 2013.Jean was born in Middle Granville, NY, the daughter of the late Richard E. and Jane M. Williams.She movedto Schenectady, NY with her family in 1941 andgraduated from Nott TerraceHigh School.In 1946 she married Warren H. White andmoved to Rotterdam (Carman), NY where she and her husband resided for fifty-four years.Warren passed away on April 24, 2000. Jean worked at the Navy Depot in Rotterdam from 1944-1959 and at the Watervliet Arsenelfrom 1960 until 1973 when she retired. Jean is survived by her daughter,Nancy White Kille ofBlythe, Georgia;a granddaughter,Jennifer Gross Cloward and her husband Brian of Alpharetta, GA;a grandson, Jason M. Gross ofNorth Olmsted, OH;twogreat-grandaughters,Lindsay Nicole Cloward and Madeline Bryce Cloward; a sister C. Marie Watkins of Burnt Hills, NY andseveral nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, R. Edmond Williams of Schenectady,NY. Family and friends are invited to call at theDeMarco Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Rotterdam, NY from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, February 13, 2013.Funeral services will begin at noon followed by interment at Memory Gardens.
