Mitzi May (Merriman) Providence

Schenectady - Mitzi Merriman Providence, 32, passed away Apr 2nd with her family by her side after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was the daughter of Paula Merriman and the late Harry Merriman. Both sets of grandparents are also awaiting Mitzi in her eternal life. Mitzi was the heart of a large family. There was nothing she wouldn't do to help anyone in need, family or not. In addition to her mother she is survived and missed by her husband Tee Providence, son Matthew Merriman, daughters Arianna and Abagail Gardner. Four sisters, Paula (Michael) White, Kelly (Towie) Adams, Angel Ann Merriman, Lalanya (Brian) Gardner, and a brother Harry (Nicole) Merriman. She was a loving aunt to many nephew and nieces. Mitzi is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. By her side through life and death was her best friend Kristi Norton. Also, a special thanks to Dr. Nini Wu of NYOH Albany Cancer Center for all her help in this fight. Calling hours will be held Wednesday April 10th from 6-8 p.m. at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam, NY.
