Mildred Robert Baker

Mildred Roberts Baker, 92, passed away on February 7, 2017 at the Baptist Health and Nursing Center with her loving granddaughter, Kristin, at her side. Mildred was born in North Adams Massachusetts on August 20, 1924 to the late Arthur and Eva Tovani. She moved to the capital region in 2003 to live close to her family. Millie was a wife and mother throughout her life. She was an excellent cook and cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. She is predeceased by her husband of 52 years Clarence F. Roberts, and her 4 brothers and 3 sisters and their spouses. She was also predeceased by her husband’s 6 siblings and their spouses. She dearly loved all of them and they were always supportive of each other. She is survived by her children Bruce (Karen) Roberts of Bellingham Washington, Priscilla Roberts of Schenectady. Her two granddaughters Kristin Kralovic-Wait and Abby Kralovic and a beloved great granddaughter Lindsey Wait. She has many nieces and nephews who will miss her smile and her sweet personality. She will be also be missed by David Bonesteel and the special person who lit up her later years Joseph Pigeon of East Greenbush. He kept dancing and took her out every night until the day she moved into Baptist Health. Millie loved music and love to sing. She was member of the Sweet Adelines and had so made to the Wildwood Programs 1190 Troy Schenectady Road Latham NY 12110.much fun performing with them.
