Michelle Lynn Ralston Tote

Rotterdam – Michelle Lynn Ralston Tote, age 45, departed this world to be with Jesus on Tuesday, November 14th, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Schenectady, Michelle was the daughter of David and Marietta (Galka) Ralston. A graduate of Guilderland High School and Ellis Hospital School of Nursing, Michelle earned her Registered Nurse certification and enjoyed 25 years of her career, most recently working in the intensive care unit at Ellis Hospital. Her smarts, consideration and kindness made Michelle a phenomenal caregiver and nurse. Michelle lived for spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. They enjoyed together many vacations and camping trips. Michelle and her husband, Joe enjoyed travelling to many destinations together. Her joy for life was evident and her spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Michelle is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, William and Henrietta Galka, paternal grandmother, Mary Ralston and her uncle, James Ralston. Left behind to cherish her memory are Michelle’s husband, Joseph Tote, her parents, David and Marietta Ralston, her sister, Tricia O’Keefe, her brother, David Ralston Jr. (Shannon), her paternal grandfather, Douglas Ralston as well as her adored nieces and nephews, Peter, Joe, Shawnee, Gino, Trevor, Dylan, Jacob, Ryan, Daniel, Connor, Hannah, Nolan and Madeline. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 17th from 4-7pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue in Rotterdam. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Funeral services will take place on Saturday morning at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery.
