Rotterdam – Michael L. Rossello, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 31st, 2019. One of five children, Michael was born in Manhattan to his parents the late Carl Rossello and Grace (Mandopolos) Rossello. Michael grew up in the Bronx and later in Yonkers and attended City College, graduating with his Bachelors degree in Economics. He worked for many years at Lydall Performance Materials, in Green Island, as an operations and scheduling manager. Mike loved sports and was a diehard NY Yankees and NY Giants fan. He also enjoyed photography. Above all things, Mike was a devoted father and lived to take care of his kids. He leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Linda A. (Broderick) Rossello, his 3 beloved sons, Steven M. Rossello, Andrew P. Rossello (April Grimes) and Mark D. Rossello (Lauren Dombrowski). He also leaves behind his siblings, Margaret “Peggy” Christian, Maureen Cuomo (Vincent), Carl Rossello and Grace Noone (John) as well as many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will take place on Monday evening from 5-7pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue in Rotterdam. A celebration of Michael’s life will begin on Tuesday morning at 11am at the funeral home. On Wednesday at 1:45pm a procession will form at DeMarco-Stone and take Mike to his final resting place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Dunnsville Road, Rotterdam.
