Michael T Mccullough Jr

Michael T. McCullough Jr, 89, of Guilderland, passed away peacefully at his home on January 8, 2013. Born in Schenectady, Michael was the son of the late Michael and Alice Ryan McCullough, and brother of the late Francis and James McCullough. A graduate of St. Columba High School in Schenectady, Michael joined U.S. Marine Corps on December 11, 1942. He served with the 5th Marine Division in Japan and was honorably discharged in 1946. He later attended Siena College and graduated in 1953 with a degree in Economics. Michael was employedwith the General Electric Co. and retired after42 years of service. He was a member of St. Madeleine Sophie Church in Guilderland. In addition to his parents and brothers, Michael was also predeceased by his beloved daughter Maureen in 1977 and his grandson Thomas Snover in 2001. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 60 yrs, Jean House McCullough, four children; Kathy Snover and her husband Scott of Ft. Collins Co., Jocelyn Zimmerman and her husband Greg of Schenectady, Christopher McCullough and his wife Dona of Las Vegas, NV. and Daniel McCullough and his wife Kathy of New Cumberland, PA., 14 grandchildren, Melissa, David, Matthew, Kenny, Erin, Jennifer, Bradley, Kristine ,Ryan, Michael, Katelyn, Thomas, Elizabeth and Patrick,and 4 great grandchildren, Connor, Landon, Kadynce and Margaret. There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, 10 am at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, Carman Rd., in Guilderland. Private burial, with military honors, will be at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
