Michael Krzyzak

Rotterdam – Michael R. Krzyzak, age 79, passed away after a long illness on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Michael was born on July 14th, 1938 in Schenectady, to his parents the late Adam and Helen Krzyzak. Michael was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School and was a member of the 109th Air National Guard. Michael worked as a foreman at MLB Industries. Left behind to cherish Michael’s memory are his wife, Mary Krzyzak, his children, Kim Posillico (Mike), Rosemary Fatato (Vern) and Donna Tooley (John), his broher, Timothy Krzyzak (Lucille) as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Terry Krzyzak and Carol Krzyzak. Calling hours will be held from 10am -12pm on Saturday, May 5th at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. in Rotterdam. Funeral services will follow at 12pm. Burial will be at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna. Memorial contributions in Michael’s name may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave., Scotia, NY 12302.
