Michael P Dockal

Michael P. Dockal, 67, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 5, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Schenectady, Mike is the son of Sophia (Bochenek) Dockal and the late Matthew Dockal. Mike was a faithful Redskin fan and classic car enthusiast. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his grandchildren, especially watching their sporting events. Mike leaves behind his beloved wife of 47 years, Karen (Sroczynski) Dockal, his son, Ken and daughter-in-law Ann Dockal of York, SC, daughters, Amy and son-in-law Dan Perrault of Delanson and Tina Markle ofRotterdam; beloved grandchildren, Kenny and Kaila Dockal, Connor and Colby McGrath, and Halie Markle. He is also survived by his brother-in-law and movie buddy, Ed Robinson and sister-in-law, Linda Robinson and sister, Linda Dockal along with several nieces and nephews and great-niece and great-nephew. He will be missed daily by his K-9 companions, Yogi and BooBoo. Mike's family would like to thank the staff at Capital Living Rehabilitation Center and the Hospice team of professionals who gave him such great care. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 9, at 3 p.m. at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Rotterdam, with a visitation held prior from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
