Michael E Burtt

Schenectady - Michael Edmund Burtt, age 34, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, on MondayOctober 11, 2021. Michael was a loving son, father, brother, husband nephew and cousin. Michael always brought joy and laughter when he entered a room. He had an amazing sense of humor. Michael enjoyed the outdoors. He loved camping, fishing and snowboarding. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed by many. Michael is survived by his loving parents, PeggySue and John Burtt, his wife, Samantha Burtt and two step children, Leah and Sullivan, his younger brother, John John Burtt, his daughter, Athena and her mother, Yanee Zane along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. If you wish to make a memorial donation, please do so to Michael’s daughter Athena Zane. These donations will be used for her future and education. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 4 -6 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. A memorial service will begin at the funeral home at 6 pm.
