Mercedes Enright

Rotterdam- Mercedes Enright, 95, at rest Thursday July 31, 2014. Mercedes was born in the Dominican Republic, the daughter of Miguel and Julia Atala. A homemaker, she was a member of the Schonowe Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxillary for over 50 years. Mercedes was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. Mercedes was the beloved wife of the late Basil E. Enright, who predeceased her in 1982; beloved mother of Debra (Howard) Moyer and Dennis Enright. She is predeceased by her nine siblings and is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A calling period will be held Friday, August 1, from 6 to 8 pmat the DeMarco-Stone Funeral, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Rotterdam. Funeral services will begin 9am Saturday,at the funeral home, followed at 9:30am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Rd. Rotterdam. Mercedes will be laid to rest next to her husband in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
