Melissa Ferguson

Guilderland - Melissa Maria Ferguson, 52, of Fuller Station Road in Guilderland, passed into the arms of our Lord on Friday, October 4, 2013. She died at home, where she was the happiest, after a brief illness. Melissa was the beloved daughter of John and Charlotte Ferguson, and is survived by her mother, her sisters Juanita Platka and Cristina Eaton, her brother John Ferguson; nieces Liza Eaton and Angelica Ferguson; nephews Lonny Eaton, Adam Platka and Raphael Ferguson. Melissa was an inspiration to all who knew her and spread joy and happiness everywhere she went. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue in Rotterdam on Wednesday, October 9th from 4 - 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, 3500 Carman Road in Guilderland on Thursday, October 10th at 10:00am. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at St. Peter's Hospital as well as Community Hospice.
