Melanie M (Crouse) Feldman

Schenectady- Melanie Mae Feldman (Crouse) passed away Tuesday November 12, 2015 in her home in Schenectady at the age of 61. Melanie is survived by her husband of 41 years, Ned Feldman and her children Jessica Lacher- Feldman (Thomas Little) Anna Feldman, Noah Feldman, Isaac Feldman and Eli Feldman as well as her brother John Crouse. Melanie was born on February 28, 1954 in Schenectady to George and Vivian Crouse. She graduated from Linton High School in 1972 and married Ned November 21, 1973. Melanie was employed by the Schenectady School District as a teacher's assistant for 19 years. She touched many lives over the years through her work in the schools and in the community. Melanie was a gifted teacher and nurturer of children and a singer who you could listen to forever. Her cooking and baking skills brought smiles to many. A most loving wife, mother and friend she called all good folks her family. A celebration of Melanie's life is scheduled for December 13, 2015 at 2 pm at the Grange Hall located at 24 Pashley Road Glenville NY 12019.
