Matthew Edward Jones Jr

Schenectady - Matthew Edward Jones Jr. passed away unexpectedly at home on February 10, 2021. He was born on June 24, 1982 in Schenectady, New York. He is survived by his mother, Diane Cornett, his step father, Ambrose Jones, who raised him, his three younger sisters, Jessica Jones, Anna Ladd, and Amber Gauvreau, his fiancé Elizabeth Cyr, his 3 month old son, Elijah Jones andmany loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his grandmothers, Penny Maier and Carol Taylor. He was a very loved, goofy, helpful, and caring man. He loved to be outdoors, especially to fish. He is dearly missed but never forgotten. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 3:30pm-4:30pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Schenectady, NY 12306. A memorial service will take place at 4:30pm.
