Mason L Parker

Schenectady- Mason L. Parker, 88, passed awayon Thursday July 18, 2013. *** Born in Stillwater NY on August 2 1924,Mase was the son of the late Raymond and Francis Waters Parker. Masegraduated from Mechanicville High School in 1941. He served as a medic during WWII and received the Bronze Star as well as other honors. Mase moved to Schenectady and worked at various jobs before retiring from the Schenectady Gazette. He was member of the fraternal order of Eagles Aux #514 of Schenectady. Mase was the beloved husband of 36 years to the late Rose Raffele Parker, brother in law of Amelia and Floyd Dufel and Dolly Raffele, beloved uncle of Kathy Raffele, Stephanie Raffele, Roseanne DeLoreto and Steve Raffele III Mase is also survived by his great nephew Steven Raffele IV,Great Niece Jennifer (Gabe) Rounds and their daughter KInley Clare. Services for Mase will be private.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the charity of your choice.
