Mary E (Dematteo) Tate

Schenectady – Mary E. Tate, 80, passed away Monday January 22, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Schenectady she was the daughter of the late Evan and Mary DeMatteo. Mary worked for Ethan Allen in Colonie for over 40 years before retiring. She was an avid bowler and loved to play bingo. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Everett Tate. Her son; Mark (Sharon) Tate of Rotterdam. Her grandson, Anthony. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4-7 pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Funeral services will be held 9 am Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
