Mary H (Fura) Ruminski

Mary H. Ruminski, 97 of Rotterdam, died Tuesday morning, July 9, 2013 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Amsterdam, Mary was the daughter of the late Jacob and Helen Jastrzembska Fura. Mary was employed as an Inspector at General Electric and retired in 1956. In addition to her parents, Mary was also predeceased by her beloved husband Walter Ruminski, who died in 1991, and four brothers;brothers, Joseph Fura, William Fura, John Fura and Stanley Fura. She is survived by her sisters; Josephine Bandos of Ballston Spa and Sadie Gutowski of Amsterdam. Mary is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin on Friday morning, 9:15 from the funeral home, followed at 10 am by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Madeleine-Sophie Church. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a church of one's choice
