Mary Przybylski, 91, formerly of Rotterdam, died peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Glendale Nursing Home. Mary was born in Schenectady, the beloved daughter of the late Antoni and Frances (Stuka) Matusiak. She was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School, Class of 1941.After high school, Mary began employment with General Electric, retiring in 1990 as a Draftsman.She was a member of St. Gabriel's Church. Mary was an excellent artist and was a huge Frank Sinatra fan. In addition to her parents, Mary was also predeceased byher beloved husband of 34 years,George E. Przybylski , who died in 1978, her beloved sisters;Jessie Olszewski, and Lucy Hornichek , beloved nieces; Kathy Torino and Karen Hornichek and her nephew;Gary Torino. She is survived by her nephew, Walter (Sandy) Olszewski of Ballston Spa, niece;Mary Lou Halsdorf of Rotterdam, grand nieces;Vicki (Jay) Speers of Rhinebeck, Dayna (Andrew) Newton of Latham and Jenna Torino of California, grand nephew, Benjamin Olszewski, great grand nephew; Andrew Speers and her special friend, Mary Pat Smith. Mary is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and friends. A calling period will be held on Wednesday morning at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, Rotterdam from 8:30 to 9:30 am. Those in attendance may follow for a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gabriel's Church.Burial will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Rotterdam. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary's name may be made to St. Gabriel's Church, 3040 Hamburg St., Schenectady, N.Y. 12303 Mary's family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and aides at B2 Glendale Home, and the staff of Community Hospice of Schenectady for the gracious care they provided to Mary.
