Rotterdam - Mary Palluti, age 93, was received into Heaven on March 1, 2018, with her sons by her side. She was being cared for at The Schenectady Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mary was born July 20, 1924 in Schenectady to the late Peter and Louise (Brandolino) Di Bartolomeo. Along with her parents, God has brought Mary home to her soul-mate and beloved husband, Angelo Palluti and her cherished siblings, Joseph, John and William DeBartolomeo, Betty Scavello, Carmella Valente, Angie DiCerbo and Dorothy Burns. Leaving a truly loving and memorable impression in this world, Mary devoted her life to her family, friends and all who came across her path in life. She touched countless lives with her unconditional love and kindness. Mary was an avid and die hard NY Yankees fan, passionate about her faith, shared her heart through her cooking, loved singing a tune and above all, her greatest love in life was her treasured granddaughter, Nicole Marie. Left to carry on cherished memories of Mary are her adored sons, Edward(Shelly)Palluti and William Palluti, her most beloved granddaughter, Nicole(Jeffrey)Crandall and her precious great-granddaughters, Ava Elizabeth and Addison Grace Crandall. She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 5th from 5-7 pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home,1605 Heldeberg Ave. Rotterdam. Funeral services will be held the following morning, Tuesday March 6th beginning 8:45 am at DeMarco-Stone, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial that will celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 210 Princetown Rd. Rotterdam at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at St. Cyril and Method Cemetery in Rotterdam. Memorial contributions in Mary's name may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association. Mary's family would like to thank and acknowledge the wonderful nurses and staff at The Schenectady Center, with special thanks to Connie, Lori and Theresa for your kindness and compassion during Mary's stay there. Also, a special and heart filled thank you to The MacDormand family, Mary's longtime neighbors and friends, for all the years of love and support they have shown Mary.
