Mary Joan Catrine (Kraft)

Mary Joan Catrine (Kraft), 76 formerly of Broadalbin, died at home in Cannan, NY on Sunday, June 14 2015. Born in Utica, NY, Mary was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Clara Miga Catrine.She was a graduate of Utica Free Academy and later received an Associate's Degree from FMCC. She was employed by the New York State Dept. of Motor Vehicles in Albany for 21 years and retired in 2005. Mary Loved to knit.She also enjoyed fishing and hosted high school exchange students for many years at her home. In addition to her parents, Mary was also predeceased by her brothers Frank Catrine and Fred Catrine. She is survived by her companion of 18 years; John L. Kropinski, her former husband; Donald F. Kraft, four children; Donald M. (Nancy) Kraft of Manassas, VA.,Thomas G. (Sandra) Kraft of Homer, NY.,Jeffrey F. (Felicia) Kraft of Maywood, NJ. And Maribeth Kraft of Broadalbin, NY, her brother; Edmund (Mary Ann) Catrine of Schenectady, as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private.
