Mary E (O'Hara) Fusco

Mary E. Fusco, 93 passed away on January 3, 2017 at the Capital Living Nursing and Rehabilitation facility in Schenectady. Born in Oakland California, Mary was the daughter of the late Martin and Ellen O’Hara. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Fusco who died in February 2014. Mary spent many happy years in Florida with her beloved Tony playing golf, cards, dancing and having fun with many wonderful friends. She leaves behind her children Anthony (Ellen) Fusco and Donna McDonald, whose husband Jack passed away April 2004. Mary is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren, her brother Martin O’Hara of California, her sisters, Kathleen Buddles, also of California, and Theresa Graulich of New Jersey. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 am at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, 3500 Carman Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 at the church. Interment will be at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Schodack. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the wonderful caregivers and staff at Capital Living Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
