Mary Dinola

April 12, 1905 — July 11, 1905

ROTTERDAM- Mary (Siatkowski) DiNola, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born in Schenectady on April 16, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Eva (Miller) Siatkowski. She is predeceased by the love of her life, her husband for over 70 years, Dominick DiNola. She is survived by two daughters, Donna (Brian) Cummings and Marianne (Keith) Baratier, four grandchildren, Deana Constantino, Ronald (Paola) Cummings, Danielle Baratier and Gabriella Baratier and three great grandchildren, Rachel Constantino, Adrian Cummings and Luca Cummings. Mary is survived by two brothers, Valentine Miller and William Siatkowski and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by three sisters, Eleanor Pudvah, Tina LaMalfa and Dorothy Viscusi, and two brothers, George Miller and Robert Siatkowski. Mary attended Draper High School before marrying Dominick in 1947. Mary worked at Schalmont High School for over 30 years in the school cafeteria but she was first and foremost a wife and a homemaker. Mary was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Schenectady. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking and baking. She most enjoyed spending time with her husband Dominick at the casino and family vacations at the Jersey shore. Her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren were her whole world. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 8 from 4-6 pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 12 noon with the Rev. Matthew van Maastricht of the Altamont Reformed Church officiating. Burial will be at Schenectady Memorial Park Cemetery.
