Mary J (Fleischman) Blandon

Rotterdam – Mary J. Blandon, 61, passed away at Ellis Hospital on Friday, June 21st, 2019. Mary was born in Schenectady to the late Philip J. Fleischman Sr. and Rosemary Fleischman. She was a graduate of Linton High School. Mary worked for in many diners during her career as a waitress, working at the Brandywine Diner for a number of years and most recently at the Redwood Diner. Mary will be remembered for having the biggest heart, always helping and doing what she could for friends in need. She loved to cook and really enjoyed oldies and country music. Mary was predeceased in January by the love of her life, Sal Sidoti. She was also predeceased by her parents, her sister, Patricia Fleischman and her brother, Philip Fleischman. She leaves behind her two sisters, Nancy Bailey and Barbara Battaglioli and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mary’s life will be announced.
